It’s starting to cool down in Minnesota! When we arrived it was like walking around in warm bathwater (which I loved, but Kyle didn’t enjoy because of carrying boxes up to our apartment) and for the past couple of weeks the weather has been mostly hot and sunny. We did have one outrageous thunderstorm though! I’ve never seen lightening look like a constant strobe light before. Now it’s been raining more and the temperatures are lower. On the bright side, I can wear my fall clothes without roasting.

Since it was chilly and rainy outside we decided to go to one of the malls in the area instead of playing on a wet playground. Grayson got to run around in the mall play area, and I got to do some shopping. I’m having fun exploring all the new shops available to me. This is the outfit I wore.

I got this vest from Charming Charlie this summer for only $10 and I love it. It’s so soft, and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it this season. I also love this striped shirt. The stripes are gold, so they have a little bit of sparkle that I think every outfit needs. I finished the outfit with jewelry, skinny jeans, and boots.

And now for a linkup!

Last week I started a brand new linkup called We are Fashion. My goal for this linkup is that it will be a close knit community of bloggers who actually read and comment on each other’s posts instead of just dropping a link and running. I think we are all stronger as a blogging community if we work together. So thank you for those of you who participated fully in this new linkup.

My favorite post is Shelbee’s from Shelbee on the Edge.

I love Shelbee’s spunk, and am impressed by the outfit she was able to put together with thrifted items. Can you believe she got that jacket for $8? I’m also loving the chambray shirt tied at the waist, and the fringe on her sandals are to die for.

The post with the most clicks was … well, there was a three-way tie so I chose another favorite. Molly from Still Being Molly.

Both of these blogs have been pinned to the We are Fashion Pinterest board. Link up your post for a chance to be featured!
