It’s here! Through all the stress of moving I actually forgot I had ordered this box from Bluum. When I signed up I got to pick all of the items that Grayson would receive. Even though I knew what the items were, it was no less fun to watch Grayson open the box. Here is an in-depth look at the items and, as promised, cute baby pictures.

Snack Stack – Sky Blue

This snack cup is great. The brand is Re-Play and the cup is BPA-free and made in the USA. Grayson is getting a kick out of screwing and unscrewing the caps. This will also hold up really well on the move — no more crushed crackers while running errands! On Amazon you can buy the Sky Blue Snack Stack by Re-Play for $3.99 plus shipping, or this set of 3 for $14.99.

Tegu Triangle Blocks

I didn’t actually realize these blocks were magnetic! Grayson is just starting to get the hang of magnets, and he’s enjoying sticking them to things. They are also made out of wood, and it’s refreshing to receive a toy that’s not made out of plastic. Amazon sells this set of Tegu Blocks for $12.

12 Piece Puzzle – Robots

This puzzle is by the brand Mudpuppy. This is the product that I was most worried about, but the pieces feel really durable, and the picture is pretty cute. Grayson is slowly learning how to put the puzzle together, but hasn’t quite figured it out yet. Of course, by the time I took a picture of it one of the pieces had mysteriously disappeared. Toddlers…. On Amazon this puzzle sells for $10.99, and there are lots of other designs.

I Love My Dad by Anna Walker

This is a simple story about things that a child does with their dad. The art is really cute too. I’m intrigued by the zebra-like sock-puppety characters. Buy I Love My Dad on Amazon for $9.99.

Overall

I’m estimating the value of this box at $42.98. I paid $34 for this box, so I’m pretty happy with the return on my investment. I was a little disappointed to find every item on Amazon. I think it would be cool if the items were more unique, and if the products were exclusive to Bluum. However, I also wouldn’t have bought all these items independently, so overall I’m pretty happy with the service. Also, more importantly, Grayson is getting a kick out of his new toys. He’s even treating the snack stack like a toy! So this box was definitely a win for me.

What do you think of the products I picked? Have you tried a subscription box for your child? Let me know in the comments!
